Trench Drain Filter Fabric Details
The Ultra Trench Drain Filter gets it's hydrocarbon filtration muscle from incorporating strips of Ultra-Filter-Tex filtration fabric. As water runs through the trench, it flows through these oil-absorbing strips, capturing sand, silt, and sediment in between the strips, with oil also being absorbed. The Trench Drain Filter Fabric has a 10' x 2' section of filter strips. Nylon cord is sewn along the entire length of the fabric for added strength. Create the filter length needed by connecting multiple Ultra Trench Filters together through the loops on each end. Tie off the end of the Ultra Trench Filter with the included 10' cord, anchoring it securely in place.
The Ultra Trench Drain Filter helps you comply with various regulations and rules. These include: Stormwater Management Regulation 40 CFR 122.26, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL).

Trench Drain Filter Fabric FAQs
The Ultra Trench Drain Filter is made from strips of Ultra-Filter-Tex, sewn together with a nylon cord. The Ultra-Filter-Tex filter strips are made of a proprietary blend of fibers that naturally absorb oils and greases from water. The water itself will flow through these strips while the hydrocarbons are held in the strips of fabric.
Using the 10-foot cord, you can secure the trench filter by staking it to the ground or tying it to the storm drain grate (or other nearby structures).
