UltraTech Spill Containment Berm Economy Model provides you with durable, dependable spill containment to safely store containers, equipment and machinery for long periods of time. The Economy Model Spill Berm is inexpensive, yet extremely durable and rugged for outdoor use or indoor use on construction sites, jobsites, facilities, and more. Made from Copolymer-2000 material, the Economy Model spill berm is easy to setup and install. The L-shaped brackets are quickly and easily inserted into sleeves that are spaced out around the perimeter of the spill containment berm. This spill berm has no extra material or framing outside of the sidewalls, making it space-conscious and great for indoor use. UltraTech Spill Containment Economy Model Details
The Economy Model Spill Berm is made from durable Copolymer-2000 material and is an affordable, lightweight, durable spill containment solution for construction sites, facilities, and jobsites. Rigid sidewalls are reinforced by L-shaped aluminum brackets that are easily and quickly inserted into sleeves around the perimeter of the spill berm. This economical spill berm gives you containment for frac tanks, larger machinery, 55-gallon drums, IBCs and much more. The Economy Model Spill Berm is space conscious as well. There are no frames, components or excess materials outside of the sidewalls or frame, making it great for spill containment inside of sheds and buildings where space is limited. The Economy Spill Berm will keep you in compliance with EPA 40 CFR 264.175 Containment of Containers Containing Free Liquid and SPCC - Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Act.

Economical Spill Containment Berm Applications
The Economy Model Spill Berm is designed to be space-saving, money-saving and totally dependable as a spill containment solution. While it is not a drive-over spill berm that sees a lot of vehicular traffic or attention day-to-day, it will hold and contain your tanks, drums, containers, machinery, and more, keeping you in compliance with EPA and SPCC regulations. You can use the Economy Model spill berm outdoors or indoors.
Wherever you decide to deploy the Economy Model spill berm, please consult these steps when setting up the berm.
- STEP1: Select a level area and be sure that ground is swept clean of debris and sharp objects. The use of a ground cloth is recommended to prevent puncturing from underneath the Berm.
- STEP2: Place the folded Berm on the tarp at the setup location. Do not drag the folded berm. Unfold Berm and position as desired. Slide L-brackets into the Berm pockets.
- STEP3: If tread protectors are being used, place these in the unit at this time.
The spill containment berm accessories you can use for your spill containment berm are the Track Belts, Ground Cloth and the Ultra Berm Repair Kit. The Track Belts are placed over the berm as vehicles and machinery enters the berm. This is to protect the berm surface from scrapes and tears. For the Economy Model spill berm, these track belts can be removed once the sidewalls are set up. The Ground Cloth is a great accessory to use underneath the spill containment berm to protect it from anything on the ground that you might have missed that could puncture the berm. The Ultra Berm Repair Kit, however, comes with various tools and patches to help you fix any issues with the material.

The Economy Model Spill Berm Kit, as the name suggests, is an economical, budget-friendly option for spill containment needs and projects. While the Economy Model might not have the features that other spill berms have, like the ability to be drive over while in use, or foam walls, or other features, the Economy Model spill berm will contain your tanks and drums for long periods of time and is space-conscious for spill containment in sheds and other buildings where space is limited. The most requested size is the Ultratech 8250, but it is available in a full range of sizes and custom sizes can also be considered to fit your project. The Ultra Berm Repair Kit includes everything you need to make most repairs to the material of your spill berm. The patching kit includes a tool box, an industrial heat gun, hand roller, replacement handles (if applicable), and 50 of three types of patches.
